PROJECTS

Support Your Skin’s Mind

This project was a beauty collaboration between No.7 and Nottingham Trent University.

The aim was to work as a team to produce a new skincare product range and campaign that recruited the 30 year-old consumer with an emotional consumer insight. As well as, developing a new benefit space exploring unique science.

The concept my team and I created was ‘Support Your Skin’s Mind’, a range of ‘good mood’ skincare that leveraged the interconnection between mind and skin to support consumer’s resenting change. Which, we pitched to a team at No.7 Headquarters in Nottingham. We had to consider all elements of this range, including the full circular promotion eg: cultural calendar, visual merchandising and packaging, PR etc… and design/visualise these aspects for out client.

For a deeper understanding of the design process and project direction, a PDF copy of the pitch presentation is available on request.

Little Miss Lost

This was a self-devised project exploring the suppression of young women’s sensuality, in favour for external approval and the Male Gaze. Taking a problem which is sensitive, and making it comfortable, fun and friendly for the consumer.

The aim of this project was to liberate young women from the pressure of external approval, by minimising shame and creating a safe place to explore sensuality comfortably.

The outcomes consisted of an eighty page report outlining my design process, idea generation and decision making. In addition to this, a short printed book called ‘Little Miss Lost’ that explored sensuality for young women through creative copywriting. Finally, a hypothetical campaign for lingerie brand ‘Parade’ to bring comfort to young women exploring sensuality and subverting the typical notions of the Male Gaze.

For a deeper understanding of the thought process and creative direction of this project, a digital copy of my report and book are available upon request.

Drink Up Drip Down

This project was a team live client brief, exploring the collaboration between Castle Rock Brewery and WIGFLEX. The aim was to produce a range of beers for the collaboration and a promotional event, alongside a campaign.

Our campaign tagline was ‘Drink Up, Drip Down’ promoting a seasonal range of three fruit based beers and a trio of summer events where each beer was released with WIGFLEX’s brand identity at the heart.

Our task was to create physical examples of the beer labels, plan an enticing campaign and event accordingly to the cultural calendar, and pitch the range and ideas to the clients.

All We Are Is Who We Are

This project explores the use of fashion film to promote product ranges and brand messaging. This was a live client brief between NTU and ‘All We Are’ jewellery.

The aim was to respond to the clients brief and create a short fashion film and digital promotion to communicate not only their new product range but brand identity.

This was a team project, where I took on the role of Creative Director, making important final decisions, guiding the creative team to success and creatively solving problems efficiently.

An Ode To Women

This project was a self devised publishing project, with the aim of creating a zine for a chosen consumer.

My zine was called ‘An Ode To Women’ to celebrate the work of modern feminist art, as a means to creatively communicate feminist issues in society.

For this, I gained Graphic Design, Printing and vital InDesign skills that I can translate into future projects.
